Regional Sales Director

The Regional Sales Director position reports to the Senior Director of Sales, CP NA and is responsible for growing the overall market share of our focused and core brands, managing the Regional P&L/enhancing profitability, and enriching the customers’ experience in doing business with Helm. This role will have a team of sales professionals reporting directly to them who are dedicated to growing the sales within their territories of both traditional crop protection products and biological products.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Management: Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing sales representatives.
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with senior leadership of regional strategic customers to develop and execute joint business plans while fostering strong relationships.
- Revenue Growth: Ensure sales objectives and profitability align with financial targets through forecasting and performance tracking.
- Communication & Coordination: Maintain effective internal communication regarding business metrics and directives across Helm Crop Solutions.
- Competitive Strategy: Monitor competitor activity and develop response strategies accordingly.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across departments to implement key customer-facing initiatives.
- Leadership Team Contributions: Serve as a member of the EU NA leadership team, influencing strategy and direction for the US Crop Solutions business.
- National Alignment: Coordinate regional initiatives at key customer accounts in accordance with national business directives.
- Training & Development: Design and implement training programs to enhance sales team capabilities in new products and market trends.
- Customer Insights: Develop a system for gathering and analyzing customer feedback to drive product and service improvements.
- Expense Management: Oversee budgeting and forecasting for the Regional Sales Team, ensuring sales targets are met.

Experience Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in agricultural business and sales, preferably in crop protection products and value-added technologies.
- Strong attention to detail, results-oriented mindset, and self-starter abilities with excellent follow-up skills.
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record in delivering measurable business growth.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and aptitude for identifying customer solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Outstanding organizational and analytical skills.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an agricultural-related field.
