Responsibilities

- Provide back up and support to logistics team in vessel/rail/barge and product management team.

- Follow market developments, prices, supply, demands, logistics, etc.
- Gain a knowledge of the inland marine logistics (mile points of ports/fleets, etc.).
- Gain a knowledge of the inland rail logistics (Class 1 rail roads/rail line switches/ rail car maintenance/ etc.).
- Help improve streamlining/automation of manual tasks between excel and ERP system.

- Assist in the position reports and position report comments.
- Assist and provide back up for all logistics related sale processes (contracts/navision/vendor/etc.).
- As well as all other duties as requested.

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree required

- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook/Word/PowerPoint)
- Extensive experience in Excel is required.
- Background in agriculture is preferred but not required.

- Navision/SAP is preferred but not required
