Product Manager and Business Analyst

Main tasks and objectives:
- Analyze global ethylene glycols (including Asia, Europe & North American) market to support on business
- Grow Asia EG business together with EG Asia team
- Technical and fundamental research on MEG Futures, SGX Swaps and technical tool trades for Asia
Individual tasks:
- Strategic decision of global allocation of products (MEG/DEG/TEG) among regions
- Product flow from supplier to different regions on structured basis
- Alignment of global communication to external partners (e.g. standard presentation)
- Record MEG paper trades and report in accordance with risk management and EU EG steering principles
- Develop, execute, and update the local EG strategy in alignment with EU EG strategy
- Account management of regional suppliers and customers
- Participate in local / regional conferences which are relevant to the industry
- Share local / regional market analysis report on a regular basis with global team
- Provide recommendation for EG trading positioning
- Support in performing the DCE EG trades for Technical Tool / Medium Term Positioning
- Developing the overall EG business strategy together with Head of Ethylene Glycols Asia
- Joining Head of Ethylene Glycols Asia on trips/conferences to better understand EG market
- Other tasks assigned by Head of Ethylene Glycols Asia, e.g new projects
Responsible for:
- Contribute to overall EU EG business strategy
- Trading positioning recommendation & business optimization
- Contribute to EG Asia targets
Specific authorization:
- Execution of Physical & Paper Trades for EG within EU EG approved limits & risk management limits
- Execution of DCE Technical Tool Trades & SGX Swaps for MEG within approved limits
Required professional background/specific knowledge:
- Good English skill both in writing and speaking
- Strong market sense and good analytical skill
- Petrochemical / Oil Commodities Paper Trading experience
- Bachelor’s degree from recognized university
