Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Business Development Coordinator to support and drive our growth strategies in the Brazilian chemical market. This role plays a key part in identifying business opportunities, supporting sales initiatives, and coordinating strategic partnerships. Reporting directly to the Director - Chemicals, you will work cross-functionally with internal teams and international partners to enhance market presence and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Commercial Director in developing and executing business development strategies across several chemicals’ products / Brazilian market.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and industry trends.
  • Coordinate and assist in the preparation of commercial proposals, bids, and contracts.
  • Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate customer and sales data.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients, agents, and partners.
  • Prepare regular performance reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management.
  • Assist in the organization and follow-up of international trade shows, client meetings, and strategic events.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies in all business development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, International Trade, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in business development, sales coordination, or commercial support within the chemical or industrial sectors.
  • Strong understanding of local Chemical market, distribution networks, and trade practices.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Spanish or German) are a strong asset.
  • Willingness to travel internationally when required.
