HR Specialist – Payroll, Recruitment & Office Admin (6-month Contract)

 

We are seeking an experienced and solution-oriented HR Specialist to support our India operations on a 6-month contractual basis. This role involves payroll system implementation, end-to-end recruitment, HR operations, and office management in our Mumbai office.

This is a unique opportunity to work closely with regional and global HR teams during a critical transformation phase.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of a new payroll system, including vendor coordination, logic validation, and statutory compliance.
  • Manage monthly payroll processing in line with Indian labor and tax regulations.
  • Handle full-cycle recruitment: job posting, screening, coordination, onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, handle onboarding/offboarding, manage HRIS updates.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal HR policies.
  • Support HR process improvement, documentation, and audits.
  • Oversee office operations, including vendor coordination, supplies, courier, and admin support.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources with strong exposure to payroll and recruitment.
  • Experience in HRMS or payroll system, preferably with tools like SAP PS4, SuccessFactors, Expensya, PeopleDoc, DocuSign.
  • Sound knowledge of Indian payroll laws and statutory deductions (PF, PT, ESIC, TDS).
  • Prior experience in office administration or facility coordination is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).

 

Employment Type:

Contractual – 6 to 12 months
