Helm Crop Solutions is currently building up its strategy and organization. To embrace our promising and innovative future, in the fertilizers part of Crop Solutions, we are looking for a collaborator to take the position of Customer Service and operation for Spain and Portugal. We are offering a dynamic and motivating environment, where we all collaborate, to make the business grow and share our knowledge. You should be eager to deal with figures, stock monitoring and invoicing. Additionally, you will be in constant contact with the sales' manager, the CSO and the credit department in Hamburg.
Your tasks:
Your role involves closely managing customer service operations in Spain and Portugal, guaranteeing exceptional experiences for end-users.
In detail, this means:

You will support procurement and sales manager in handling the commercial execution by ensuring a smooth execution of the inbounds/ imports and outbounds/ export, in line with the Purchase contracts´ legal frame, suppliers, chartering (if applicable).

Here, the handling of order processes and transport follow ups (incl. vessel nomination and position, trucks, barges, containers, and truck bookings (when applicable) in Europe and Asia will be part of your role.

Furthermore, you provide exceptional service to suppliers/ final customers in terms of deliveries, documentation process, anticipation and reporting. You will also take care of after-sales and/or after-purchases support including problem-solving and issue resolution.

In addition, you will closely monitor the stocks / inventories, with the objective of getting correct in & out figures to provide to the commercial team, to customers and to controlling. Here, you will also monitor the targeted costs and advise whenever a deviation appears.

In this regard, a part of your role will also be the issuing of sales invoices, credit, and debit memos, SPO (when applicable) ensuring smooth month-end as well as year-end closings. Using our ERP-Tool (SAP), you will process and update business transactions accurately and efficiently.

Moreover, in doing so, you will bring in your expertise in handling external claims and will support the insurance claim preparation.

You work in compliance with internal and external processes and regulations (ARIS, Helm principles,) as well as Quality standards, dangerous goods, customs, tax, Incoterm, etc …)
Your profile:

You possess a diploma in logistics or business operations or an equivalent training.

You are generally passionate about supply chain and logistics and can handle the monitoring of vessels/containers and the shipping supply chain.

Ideally, you already posses of knowledge in the fertilizers and commodities market.

You bring the ability and appetence to negotiate with LSP.

You are driven by curiosity, hence you question situations and challenge the processes, but can act as a solution provider with and open-minded spirit at the same time.

Moreover, you are data & performance driven and possess of a high level of analytical skills.

You are an excellent teamplayer and can be characterized by a great level of collaboration.

In addition, you are fluent in English both written and spoken.
