Product Manager - UK (m/f/d)
London, GB, SE1 0HR
HELM Great Britain is looking for a dedicated and strategically minded Product Manager (m/f/d) for the UK region to strengthen our team in London with solid expertise and an entrepreneurial mindset.
In this role, you will be responsible for the development, execution, and control of our regional product strategy.
At HELM, we combine the sustainable thinking of a family business with an entrepreneurial mindset that encourages quick decision-making and freedom in the way you do business.
Your tasks:
- You will drive the development and execution of a tailored growth strategy for HELMs UK product portfolio, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
- In this role, you’ll oversee all purchasing and sales activities, keeping a close eye on performance and market dynamics to ensure efficiency and agility.
- Beyond that, you’ll take ownership of key account management and support the regional sales team with strategic direction and leadership.
- Financial responsibility will also be part of your scope — including budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and overall controlling.
- You’ll actively build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and key accounts, leading both spot and contract negotiations and attending regular on-site visits.
- Furthermore, you’ll collaborate closely with Supply Chain and international colleagues to optimize processes, manage risks, share market insights, and ensure full compliance with quality standards.
Your profile:
- You hold a university degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field — ideally combining technical understanding with commercial insight.
- You bring several years of experience in product management, sales, or procurement — preferably within the chemical or manufacturing industry.
- A strong commercial mindset, paired with analytical thinking and a proactive, solution-oriented approach, defines the way you work.
- You communicate confidently in English, both written and spoken; additional language skills are a plus.
- With a high degree of ownership and reliability, you are comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment.
- You enjoy working cross-functionally, building relationships across teams and cultures, and are open to regular business travel.
