HELM Great Britain is looking for a proactive and results-driven (Senior) Sales Manager (m/f/d) to join our team in London.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing sales activities, developing new business opportunities, and supporting our strategic objectives in the region.

Your tasks:
In this role, you get the opportunity to lead and drive our distribution business across the assigned territory. Also, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining existing relationships, developing new accounts, and driving innovation through new product and business model leads. That means in detail:
- Take full budget responsibility for turnover, quantity, and gross profit goals of the distribution business in your assigned territory, driving sales performance
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing accounts while actively developing new customer accounts
- Identify and lead initiatives for new product and innovative business models to drive market growth
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers, addressing all inquiries and ensuring excellent service delivery
- Lead strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the European business in your assigned territory, with a focus on profit optimization and risk assessment
- Collaborate with regional and industry stakeholders to optimize EU processes, develop targeted industries, and negotiate successful contracts with key accounts
- Development of selected industries in cooperation with Heads of HELMs ICS geographical unit, HELMs regional business development teams, the EU BCS and Glycols and other Sales Managers
Your profile:
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in sales and product development of Chemical products, preferably in the chemical or industrial sector.
- Background as chemical engineer or a comparable degree
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills, with a focus on customer needs and market trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to advise customers and collaborate across teams.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities and markets.
