We are looking for an strategic thinking, proactive and hands-on HR professional with +7 years of experience working with people in complex environment and businesses.

We need a HR Business Partner for our Chemicals business in Americas


Position Summary

The Regional HR Business Partner (HRBP) is a strategic and hands-on role responsible for delivering value-added HR-services to management and employees of the Entrepreneurial Unit Chemicals of HELM across the Americas.
Currently, HELM is present in the Americas with organization performing Marketing and Distribution of Chemicals in the USA, Mexico and Brasil.
This role partners closely with the business-leader and-manager to align HR strategies with business objectives, ensure adequate education, skills and experience of the employees, perform effective employee- and talent-acquisition and -development and ultimately support the development and maintenance of a high-performing team.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Partnership for the leadership-/management-team

    • Partnering with the leadership-/management-team of the business organization to develop and implement effective HR policies and practices that are supporting the strategic growth of the business and achievement of the related objectives
    • Driving workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning across the region
    • Developing retention strategies for different locations in cooperation with the local management
    • Supporting coaching, mentoring and change management for the management-team and relevant group of employees

Employee Acquisition & Development / Talent Management

    • Leading the management of external and internal recruitment in close cooperation with the local HR Operations Manager
    • Implementing and executing learning- & development-programs
    • Implementing and executing career path planning for the employees
    • Developing and implementing processes and tools for talent development in an international organization acting in global and highly competitive markets
    • Providing HR expertise in the areas of feedback, employee relations, development and coaching, compensation, and organizational development
    • Coordinating internship and traineeship programs in the region

Employee Relations & Engagement

    • Fostering a positive, inclusive and diverse work environment across the organization
    • Acting in close cooperation to all employees, being available as sounding board
    • Supporting conflict resolution
    • Supporting onboarding processes, feedback circle, termination processes, structured exit interviews in close cooperation with the local HR Operations Manager and providing feedback/learning to the Management-teams
    • Regular checks of benefits and compensation packages against the standards in the local markets

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a regional-/multi-country role
  • Proven ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization in a multi-cultural environment
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Result-driven
  • Fluent in English & Spanish; additional regional languages (Portuguese) are a plus
  • Willingness to travel as needed

  • Strong digital HR systems knowledge (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors).
