This comprehensive 2-year program offers a unique opportunity to rotate through various stations including Business Development, Project Management and Licensing, providing a holistic understanding of the pharmaceutical industry's key functions. As a trainee, you will play a vital role in supporting the development, analysis, and monitoring of project and pipeline related business cases, contributing to the company's strategic growth and success.
Your tasks:
Phase I: Orientation
- You will dive into the pharmaceutical industry, gaining insights into the companies structure, values and portfolio.
- Master essential tools and systems like portfolio management software and project tracking tools to kickstart your journey.
Phase II: Core Functions / Focus
Portfolio Management, Project Management and Business Development
- Analyze portfolio performance and propose optimization strategies, directly contributing to product lifecycle management.
- As part of cross-functional project teams, you will create and monitor detailed project plans while ensuring timelines and risks are well-managed.
- Conduct market analyses to evaluate new product opportunities, supporting strategic decision-making and business development initiatives.
Phase III: Supporting Rotations
- You will take part in developing product launch strategies and lifecycle management plans, aligning efforts with portfolio goals for sustained growth.
- Explore regulatory requirements and understand their impact on portfolio steering decisions.
- Contribute to account forecasting, market analysis, and contract negotiations as part of the sales and account management team.
- Gain hands-on experience in supply chain operations, including production planning, inventory management, and delivery processes.
- You will support financial activities such as budgeting, forecasting, and monthly P&L reviews.
Capstone Project
Launch, Marketing und Life-Cycle Management, Regulatory Affairs, Account Management und Sales, Supply Chain und Operations, Controlling and Quality Assurance
- Lead a strategic project where you’ll address a real business need, such as optimizing product lifecycle management or designing a market entry strategy for a new product.
Your profile:
- You hold a university degree in Marketing, Business Studies, or Pharmacy (preferred).
- An analytical mindset and attention to detail enable you to dissect complex problems and craft structured solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel and PowerBI, is part of your skill set.
- You thrive in dynamic environments, showing adaptability and a strong willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and market dynamics is a plus, though not mandatory.
- You bring added value with previous internships, coursework, or experience in business case development.
