Our Nutrition Division, guided by the mission, vision and values of the HELM Group, operates in Europe and Mexico. We trade in both specialties and raw materials, acting as a bridge between global manufacturers and the European food industry.
To strengthen our team in Germany we are looking for a Sales Manager (m/f) with passion and experience in the German food and beverage market.
Your tasks:
- You will acquire, develop and close new businesses with new and existing customers.
- As Sales Manager you will focus on developing new business with companies within the German territory.
- You will use your sales experience to help our customers achieve their business goals by providing solutions that are also supported by our development area and operational team.
- Your responsibilities will include conducting regular customer meetings, identifying customer needs and solutions, and gathering detailed information for estimates and quotes.
- You will take responsibility for the entire sales cycle and work adeptly to achieve annual sales targets in the German sales territory.
- You create and develop key projects to meet business expectations, and follow up on them.
- You apply and continuously develop your knowledge of nutrition technology.
- You keep track of all prospect and customer activities in CRM (e.g. Salesforce).
Your qualifications:
- You have already gained at least 5 years of sales experience on the German market with a focus on confectionery, bakery, dairy and meat ready meals (focus on plant-based products).
- Ideally, you have experience in handling products such as gelatins, lecithins, vegetable proteins, vitamin premixes, citrates, lactates and sweeteners (stevia, maltitol, sucralose).
- You are passionate about our mission and can live our brand. In addition, you work solution-oriented, like to take the initiative, burn for the sales area whereby your customers come first.
- You are a native speaker of German and have a very good command of English. Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
- You are experienced in working with the Microsoft Office package. In addition, you have experience in working with CRM software as well as SAP.
- You have a valid driver's license and are open for business travel.
