In our Unit Supply Chain Central Europe, we are responsible for executing the distribution business of our chemical products. Doing that, high service-orientation, flexibility, creativity, knowledge, relationship, and trust are very important values for us.

 

We are one international team, with local units, who are sharing their knowledge, ideas and supporting each other.

 

For this team we are looking for a motivated Supply Chain Operations Manager – Reconciliation (m/f/d) – limited for 2 years.

 

 

Your task:

 

  • In this role, you contribute to a smooth operational planning of supply chains for the product group/market/customer segment in scope.
  • You ensure a daily living the right balance between cost-conscious Supply Chain Management.
  • Moreover, you process our business-transactions in SAP and archive data in the internal SNC system and take care of the execution of all relevant month- and year-end closing checks and activities.
  • You understand all cost elements of the value chain that are relevant for the reconciliation contract and you knowing tracking of orders in ERP system, collect all relevant data from various ERP tools.
  • Here, you track the balance between pre-calculated provisional costs and real costs as well as the balance between pre-calculated provisional purchase price and final purchase price.
  • In this regard, you will track and inform the supplier about the development of the balance monthly and clarify any questions from supplier regarding reconciliation calculation and related documents.
  • The work in accordance with our internal processes and quality regulations (ARIS, ISO, HELM-Principles, etc.) fulfill your daily operations.

 

 

Your profile:

 

  • You have a logistical background and several years of professional experience in this area – ideally with a focus freight forwarding or shipping.
  • Furthermore, you are familiar with working with dangerous goods requirements, tax regulations and foreign trade standards.
  • You are proficient in common IT applications such as the MS Office package. You already possess of experience in working with SAP.
  • In the team, you act as an open and team-oriented contact person. In addition, you are characterized by a service-oriented mindset.
  • A fluent command of written and spoken English completes your profile. Further foreign language skills are an advantage.
