Sales Development Representative (m/f/d)

Our Chemicals Europe team is looking for a new Sales Development Representative (f/m/d) to own and drive the growth of new customers within the region.
How you will contribute:
- Focusing on the DACH regions, you will also promote the establishment of new customer relationships and the development of new product opportunities.
- Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails. In doing so, you will act in a motivated and creative way with regards to the application and implementation of product & local strategies
- You will be responsible for managing leads through the sales pipeline by setting appointments, following up on opportunities, and tracking progress towards meeting sales goals.
- Uncover information regarding customers’ present and anticipated needs in the responsible market segment, market trends as well as developing appropriate sales strategies and measures together with the team.
- You will act as a customers' interface to the areas of business development, product management and supply chain to provide the best possible customer solutions that match our product and service offerings.
Your profile:
- Following your business studies or comparable formal sales training, you have already gained years of professional experience in sales, procurement or marketing of products in the chemical industry.
- Furthermore you possess knowledge of sales process within the chemical industry, while demonstrating a high level of competence in the negotiation of supply and sales contracts.
- You can act flexibly, adapt quickly to new framework conditions and different stakeholders respect you as a reliable and trustworthy partner.
- You approach existing and new business contacts with an open mind. You have a team-oriented attitude, proactive and willing to take on new challenges and risks.
- Strong communication skills and an ability to multi-task
- Proficient in English & German
- Good knowledge and experience using common IT applications (MS Office, Salesforce, SAP or similar).
