Project Manager - Energy Materials (m/f/d) (Croatian speaking)

For our business unit energy materials, we are seeking a Project Manager (m/f/d) , that will be responsible for leading and coordinating multiple project workstreams within a fast-paced lithium manufacturing environment. The role requires a strong engineering background, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and within budget. The successful candidate will act as a central point of coordination across internal teams, external contractors, suppliers, and international stakeholders, fostering effective communication and strong working relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Fluency in both Croatian and English, German would be advantageous is essential to support communication and collaboration with regional and international stakeholders.

Key Objective

To successfully deliver engineering and operational projects by coordinating multiple workstreams, managing stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective communication, and driving projects to completion on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Your tasks:

• Manage multiple concurrent project workstreams across engineering, operations, production, and infrastructure activities.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and risk registers.
• Ensure all project activities are delivered in line with agreed timelines, budgets, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and facilitate effective communication between stakeholders at all levels.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement appropriate mitigation plans.
• Lead project meetings, provide regular status updates, and prepare reports for senior management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, contractors, and project partners.
• Support engineering design reviews, commissioning activities, and operational readiness initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, company policies, and environmental, health, and safety standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery performance and operational efficiency.
• Manage change control processes and ensure any scope changes are appropriately assessed and documented.
• Act as the primary communication link between Croatian-speaking stakeholders and the wider project team.

Your profile: 

• Degree qualified in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience in project management within manufacturing, industrial, process, chemical, energy, or related engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of engineering project lifecycles and delivery methodologies.
• Excellent planning, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent in both Croatian and English, written and spoken.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
