HELM Pharmaceuticals is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Procurement Manager (m/f/d), to oversee and manage the procurement of goods and services within our pharmaceutical supply chain.
Your tasks:
In this cross-functional position, you will manage our operational procurement of pharmaceutical products. You will ensure compliance with supplier requirements, increase cost efficiency, and guarantee smooth coordination between internal stakeholders and external service providers.
Specifically, this includes:

Managing and authorizing the procurement of goods and services from our service providers, while continuously monitoring compliance with supply, contract manufacturing, and service agreements.

Regularly visiting suppliers and service providers to build and maintain strong partnerships, assess performance, and provide validated forecasts.

Monitoring and managing our API inventories, including planning and procurement, in alignment with forecasts and orders for our finished products.

Coordinating production campaigns, bulk manufacturing, and batch bundling with suppliers and our account management team.

Supporting our launch team in coordinating product introductions with suppliers.

Continuously assessing manufacturing costs to identify and implement savings opportunities within life-cycle management—including managing disposal costs for packaging materials.

Acting as an interface and working closely with our Regulatory Affairs (RA), Quality Assurance (QA), Legal, and Patent departments, for example when handling complaints.

Overseeing our product- and supply-chain-related tools and ensuring data quality within our product management system.
Your Profile:

A university degree in Pharmacy, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

At least 1–2 years of experience in (pharmaceutical) procurement or supply chain management.

In-depth knowledge of the generics industry and its key players, as well as a good understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements.

Expertise in supplier management and contract negotiations.

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, making you an excellent team player with problem-solving and conflict management abilities.

Experience with ERP systems and supply chain planning tools is an advantage.
