Our HELM Pharmaceuticals is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Manager (m/f/d), limited for 2 years, to oversee and manage the procurement of goods and services within the pharmaceutical supply chain.
Your tasks:
In this cross-functional position, you are responsible for our operative procurement, ensuring supplier compliance, optimizing cost efficiency, and maintaining seamless coordination between internal stakeholders and external service providers.
In detail, this means:
- You manage and authorize the purchase of goods and services with our service providers, while constantly monitoring compliance with supply, contract manufacturing, and service agreements.
- In doing so, you regularly visit suppliers and service providers in order to develop and maintain strong partnerships, regularly assess performance and provide validated forecasts.
- Furthermore, you monitor and manage API inventory levels, as well as planning and purchasing of API´s in alignment with finished product forecasts and orders.
- Here, you also coordinate production campaigns, bulk production, and batch pooling with suppliers and our account management team.
- As part of our launch team, you also handle the coordination of product launches with our suppliers
- Moreover, you continuously evaluate cost of goods to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through the Life Cycle Management process. This also includes the management of destruction cost for packaging materials.
- In addition, you act as an interface and will closely collaborate with our RA, QA, Legal and patent department, e.g. for the handling of claims.
- Monitoring our product and supply chain related tools as well as data accuracy in our product management system completes your area of responsibility.
Your profile:
- You hold a degree in Pharmacy, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- You already gained at least 1-2 years of experience in (pharmaceutical) procurement or supply chain management.
- You have strong knowledge of the generic industry and its key players and are familiar with pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements.
- You are an expert in supplier relationship management and contract negotiation.
- Your excellent analytical, organizational, and strong communication skills make you an outstanding team player and provide you with problem-solving and conflict management competencies.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain planning tools are an advantage.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken complete your profile.
