Our Business Development Team of our Pharma Business Unit is looking for a new Paralegal (m/f/d).
Your tasks:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all IP-related inquiries within the IP department, addressing queries from various stakeholders.
- Acting as the main liaison for external law firms on IP processes such as filing, prosecution, and maintenance.
- Maintain and update internal databases, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of information.
- Organize processes in accordance with invention law, acting as a central figure in streamlining procedures.
- Manage contract and IP databases, ensuring data integrity and efficient retrieval of information.
- Update and maintain the internal IP database - keeping it current and relevant.
- Handle invoicing and ensure timely payment of annual fees, maintaining financial compliance.
- Assist lawyers in handling legal contractual matters, collaborating closely on various legal tasks.
- Maintain the legal database, overseeing the signature process and ensuring data accuracy.
- Offer training sessions for key users on utilizing contract repository tools efficiently.
Your profile:
- You have an education as a German Paralegal (Patentanwaltsfachangestellte or Rechtsanwalts- und Notarfachangestellte) (m/f/d) or equivalent and already bring the first years of working experience in this field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English are required.
- You possess knowledge of European patent law.
- You have an understanding of basic international patent law.
- A basic understanding of contractual/legal topics is necessary.
- Experience with MS Office is expected.
