The Project Procurement department ensures the smooth and cost-optimized procurement of all goods and services in the course of the business unit's development projects and lifecycle and establishes strategic partnerships with service providers and contract manufacturers.
For this team in our Pharma business unit, we are looking for a Manager Project Procurement (m/f/d)
Your tasks:
- The main task of your function will be to conduct complex contract negotiations with active ingredient and finished product suppliers in the national and international environment of the pharmaceutical market.
- In this context, you will independently plan and conduct price negotiations and draw up contracts with suppliers and service providers.
- You will also be responsible for identifying new active ingredient and finished product suppliers as well as for obtaining and comparing quotations. You will independently negotiate prices and provide strategic support to suppliers and service providers.
- You will act as an interface and are the central contact person for pricing in operative purchasing to API and contract manufacturers.
- In close cooperation with your colleagues in the Pharma division, you will support the business unit in optimizing existing products regarding their commercial mindset.
- Continuous benchmarking, due diligence checks and the answering of ad-hoc inquiries complete the role profile.
Your profile:
- You have a pharmaceutical or business administration degree. Alternatively, you have a comparable education and professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in the field of generics.
- In previous roles, you have already gained experience in building supply chains for pharmaceuticals. In addition, you have experience in the procurement of contract manufacturing and development services.
- You negotiate as a trustful partner and have gained experience in negotiating contracts. You have a high level of communication skills and you know what it means to work for different projects.
- As a team player, you are sharing knowledge and achieving common goals. You will also be happy to take the responsibility for projects and accept new challenges.
- You are familiar with established IT applications (MS Office, Salesforce, SAP) and adopt new structures very fast. Fluent English skills fulfill your profile.
