Head of Finance - HELM Pharmaceuticals (m/f/d)

For our Pharma Services Division, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join HELM Pharmaceuticals as Head of Finance (m/f/d):
 

Your tasks:

• As Head of Finance, you will develop, lead, and orchestrate the finance department of HELM Pharmaceuticals on your own responsibility.
• In detail, this means: You expand, structure and professionalize the department to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with the company’s strategic goals, while collaborating with other departments, particularly in financial planning and analysis, to secure alignment with the company’s financial objectives.
• Here, you will serve as the primary point of contact for the management team, auditors, tax advisors and tax authorities. In doing so, you interact with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance with company policies.
• In close cooperation with the management, you will also develop and implement the company´s financial strategy and ensure to translate the overall strategy into a long-term financial plan. This also includes the execution of strategic finance-related projects to support the company´s overall growth and scalability.
• Furthermore, you oversee all Accounting, Tax Management, Treasury, Business Administration, Controlling as well as Reporting and Analysis matters.
• In this regard, you will take care of the approval of the consolidated financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements. In addition, you also handle the consolidation of accounting policies and the instruction of the subsidiaries.
• Furthermore, you oversee the cash flow management to ensure the company´s sufficient liquidity and to meet its obligations to invest in growth opportunities.
   

Your profile:

• You possess of at least 7 years of professional experience in international companies, where you have been able to build extensive knowledge in various areas of finance, tax, controlling, and treasury.
• You have proven leadership experience, with a track record of managing and developing teams within the finance department, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• In addition, you bring experience in leading or participating in financial transformation projects, including the implementation of new financial systems, processes, or reporting structures.
• You have a strong ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights that drive decision-making. Ability to think strategically and anticipate challenges before they arise.
• Furthermore, you have initial experience working in diverse, international teams with a strong understanding of global financial markets and the ability to communicate effectively across cultures.
• Moreover, you bring great enthusiasm for the combination of technological expertise, strategic analysis and implementation work
• You also enjoy working in an international environment and can communicate fluently in English and German; any additional language is a plus
