ESG Manager (m/f/d)

With our HELM 2030 strategy, sustainability is fully anchored in our long-term vision as well as in our daily doing, with a focus on climate, biodiversity, and inequality.

The Corporate Strategy & Sustainability Team is in charge of bringing HELM 2030 to life. Therefore, we are currently implementing regular strategic reviews, non-financial reports, new IT tools, sustainability reports, training and enabling measures, etc. In a nutshell, we take care of our HELM 2030 strategy and all ESG related topics of the HELM Group.

Together with the units, you are enabling the organization to achieve our HELM 2030 targets and fulfill ESG market and legal requirements. You will manage specific projects or tasks on your own responsibility, supported by our team and colleagues of different functions and units.

Your Tasks:

• In this function, you will coordinate different sustainability / HELM 2030 / ESG activities globally.
• Together with the team, you will ensure the fulfillment of different strategic, market and legal requirements (e.g., HELM 2030 steering, CSRD reporting, Sustainability report, ESG ratings, PCF Tool, CO2 certificates, …).
• Furthermore, you support our different business units in their analysis of sustainability data to improve our ESG performance and mindset.
• In doing so, you provide transparency and insights on sustainability data by collecting data from HELM globally and creating reports to gain valuable insights on HELMs progress towards its sustainability goals and our HELM 2030 targets.
• Moreover, you are also evaluating the sustainability impact of new investment projects.
• Building a sustainability network and partnerships with external as well as internal stakeholders supporting our HELM 2030 targets is also part of your role.

Your Profile:

• You have already a few years of professional experience in sustainability topics (e.g., projects, reporting, communication).
• Ideally, you have a good understanding of GHG calculations, ESG ratings and regulatory topics (e.g. CSRD).
• Sustainability is close to your heart, and you want to make a positive contribution through your actions and support HELM in doing so.
• You are characterized by a structured approach, reliability, and problem-solving mindset.
• You are a team player who likes to work in a collaborative environment to achieve common goals.
• You have good intercultural, social and communication skills as well as a confident and competent appearance.
• Fluent German and English skills complement your profile.
