As a Customer Service Representative – Plant Advantage (m/f/d), you will play a key role in the expansion of our Plant Advantage business. You will be the first point of contact for customers and an essential link between Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, and other internal teams. Your mission is to ensure smooth order processing, timely deliveries, and excellent customer experience.
Your tasks:
- In this role, you will support the Sales Team Europe in processing and handling customers’ orders and enquiries and will be responsible for administrating customers and product changes, returns and shipments for discounts.
- You will be the first point of contact internally to colleagues from Sales, Supply Chain, Value Chain, Operations, Marketing and Technology and externally to customers managing all requests and complaints within a timely response. Here, you support the sales representatives in maintaining and building up professional and empathetic customer relationships.
- In detail, this means you place, cancel and modify orders upon customers and Sales Representatives requests and validations and communicate and coordinate orders to HELM Logistic Service Providers (LSP), matching customers and Sales Rep. requested timelines.
- Moreover, you will be recording customer account and payment information in our SAP and Salesforce systems, to ensure accuracy and compliance. Within our data landscape, you open, maintain and change freight orders in TM and book the freight invoices.
- Within the scope of your role, you develop a strong understanding of the Plant Advantage portfolio, including Unium products and other innovative solutions, in order to provide informed support to customers and our sales team for all product related questions such as inventories, stocks and orders status, delivery timing, labels changes and samples shipments progresses.
Your profile:
- You possess an apprenticeship in commerce, an international trade diploma, or an equivalent qualification, demonstrating a strong foundation in business and trade operations.
- You should have a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a relevant field, demonstrating strong expertise in logistics, supply chain management, or related operations.
- You are generally passionate about supply chain and logistics and can handle the monitoring of vessels/containers and the shipping supply chain.
- You can deal with dangerous goods, foreign trade regulations, Incoterms, and tax regulations, ensuring compliance and efficiency in all related processes.
- You are driven by curiosity; hence you question situations and challenge the processes, while also acting as a solution provider with an open-minded spirit at the same time.
- You are an excellent team player and can be characterized by a great level of collaboration. This means, you contribute to the achievement of team goals by working in a results-oriented, cooperative and communicative manner.
- You are proficient in common IT applications such as the MS Office package, SAP and Salesforce.
- In addition, you are fluent in English both written and spoken. Ideally, you are also fluent in one other central Europe language (Polish, Romanian, Bulgarian ...)
