In our Service Unit Europe, we are supporting the business´ daily operations by providing recurring services with a focus on our internal customers. For our Chemical Compliance Team within the Service Unit Europe at our Hamburg Location, we are looking for a motivated:
Chemical Compliance Specialist (m/f/d)
Your tasks:
- In this position, you assure compliance to registration obligations, including information check and system maintenance (REACH: EU/UK/TR) for all European companies.
- In doing so, you manage and ensure the provision of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and ES (Exposure Scenarios) as well as CLP/GHS labels (Creation and Update) for materials and samples of the European companies.
- In addition, you will request and administrate the REACH registration confirmation/data from suppliers and perform release steps in supplier and product qualification. Furthermore, you will also create Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in the system for the business units.
- Moreover, you are responsible for the maintenance of the SAP PS&S module and will act as the first point of contact for internal stakeholders as well as consultants. In detail, this means: You ensure a clear data structure in the PS&S Module, perform trouble shooting and further developments as well as yearly update the regulatory content.
- In close collaboration and communication with the Business Units and the European QM team, you will also support international roll-outs of the PS&S modules regarding migration preparation and stabilization.
Your profile:
- You have a completed bachelor´s or master’s degree in Natural Sciences or an equivalent field of study.
- During previous engagements, you were able to gain first experience in chemical compliance.
- You are proficient in common IT- applications such as Microsoft Office as well as SAP (including PS &S modules). Further knowledge of Salesforce would be a plus.
- Various stakeholders appreciate you as a reliable, motivated and result-driven personality. Your good communication skills enable you to act as an open and team-oriented contact person.
- Furthermore, you are fluent in the English and German language, both written and spoken. Due to your keen awareness of various intercultural aspects, you enjoy working in an international environment.
