Business IT Manager (m/f/d) - Carve-out / TSA & System Migration
Hamburg, DE, 20097
What is the role about?
We are spinning off a pharmaceutical unit from a corporate group. During the transition period, a Transitional Service Agreement (TSA) ensures operational capability—at the same time, we are building the target IT infrastructure for the new unit (integration into the buyer’s IT or stand-alone). TSAs ensure business continuity while the new organization establishes its independent structures. And that’s exactly why we need you!
Your mission (in brief):
You are our IT bridge between business units, Seller IT (TSA provider), and future Buyers/partners. You keep critical systems stable and manage the migration/transition to the new IT landscape—pragmatically, hands-on, and with clear documentation.
Your tasks:
- Manage TSA operations: Ensuring stable operations for central business/quality systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, eQMS, M365), including incident/problem coordination, change windows, and SLA/escalation handling.
- SPOC for Seller IT: Single Point of Contact for technical issues, access, interfaces, changes, escalations, and TSA scope control.
- Migration & Cutover: Planning and implementation of data/system migrations to the target environment (mock runs, cutover plan, readiness, hypercare).
- Help build the target IT infrastructure (fit-to-size): Support in selecting/onboarding providers (e.g., Intranet/MDM/Helpdesk), definition of support model, governance & KPIs.
- Support the GxP Process / Compliance & Documentation: Audit-ready documentation, risk/issue logs, and implementation of regulatory requirements for GxP systems (CSV IT/validation, audit trails, access control, records/signatures).
Your Profile:
- Several years of experience in IT Operations / Service Delivery / System Migration – ideally in a transformation, carve-out, or TSA context with a desire to grow within an organization.
- Practical experience with ERP/CRM/QMS-related systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, eQMS, M365) and data/interface issues.
- Strong in stakeholder management, structured management, and “staying calm under pressure.”
- ITIL expertise is a plus; experience with external providers/outsourcing is welcome.
- Nice to have: Pharmaceutical expertise (GMP/Annex 11/21 CFR Part 11), ISO 27001 environment, security basics.
Why this role?
High visibility, genuine creative freedom, “Day 1 to Day 2” responsibility: You’ll build the IT bridge that supports our business through the spin-off and will be Employee Number 1 in our Pharma IT department.
