Would you like to understand IT not only in theory, but also apply it directly in practice? In this dual program, you combine an apprenticeship as an IT Specialist for System Integration with a bachelor’s degree at the Berufliche Hochschule Hamburg (BHH).

Within three years, you will prepare for the final examination at the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce while earning your bachelor’s degree in the dual model. The program is a practical alternative to a traditional IT degree.

At HELM, we will prepare you intensively for your tasks in IT system administration. You will get to know our modern IT landscape, support questions around systems, applications and infrastructure and work together with experienced colleagues on solutions for the digital workplace.

The practical part at HELM is complemented by vocational school classes at the Berufliche Schule ITECH in Hamburg.

 

What you will learn with us

• You learn how IT systems, Windows environments, networks and applications are operated reliably.

• You support the administration of our global infrastructure and our cloud services based on Microsoft 365 and Azure.

• You install and support hardware and software and learn how to answer technical questions in an understandable way.

• You work in the helpdesk, analyze errors and document solutions in our ticket system.

• You gain insights into process and project management.

 

What you ideally bring

• Advanced technical college entrance qualification, Abitur or a comparable school qualification

• Interest in IT, digital topics and technical contexts

• Enjoyment in solving problems step by step

• Good German and English skills

• Team spirit, communication skills and a careful way of working
