As an Account Manager (m/f/d) at Helm Pharmaceuticals GmbH, you'll take full ownership of a dynamic customer portfolio, with direct responsibility for the annual budget and revenue performance. You'll play a key role in forecasting, strategic planning, and expanding supply agreements, while also onboarding new customers and introducing innovative SKUs across new markets. This role combines commercial negotiation, contract management, and hands-on involvement in product launches, offering strong visibility across teams and industries. With opportunities for travel, industry event participation, and being the key contact for daily commercial matters, this position offers a highly engaging and impactful career path.

Your tasks:

  • In this position, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers, ensuring seamless communication and strong partnerships through effective Customer Relationship Management. Here, you will also be responsible for monitoring markets and customer development, identifying opportunities for growth and proactively responding to changes in demand.

  • In addition, you serve as the first first point of escalation for commercial and contractual account issues, resolving external challenges with professionalism and precision. You also handle internal commercial and contractual issues in our daily business operations, contributing to a favorable collaboration across departments.

  • Furthermore, you are in full responsibility of the annual budget of your accounts and will therefore handle the forecasting and planning with customers for our existing supply agreements. With a strategic mindset, you also take over renegotiating and extending existing supply agreements.

  • You will lead the onboarding of new customers and cooperations for established products and play a pivotal role in introducing and contracting new SKUs and territories to established customers, including the preparation of Term Sheets and Business Cases.

  • In doing so, you also support in coordinating the customer credit framework, including approvals for new customers and existing products.

  •  You will also be actively participating in and managing account-related product launch activities. Therefore, travelling to participate in onsite business review meetings and industry events will also be part of your role.

Your profile:

  • You hold a university degree in business and/or economic studies, providing a solid foundation for strategic account management.

  • You have a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical value chain, enabling you to navigate complex industry dynamics with confidence.

  • Moreover, your at least 3 years of experience in Key Account Management, Sales, or Licensing Management demonstrate your ability to manage and grow strategic partnerships.

  • Known for your strong client-facing and communication skills, combined with high-level negotiation and contracting abilities, make you a trusted partner in every business interaction.

  • You also are experienced in supplier relationship management, ensuring smooth collaboration and performance across the supply chain.

  • Thanks to your solid understanding of regulatory and quality requirements, you are able to align commercial activities with compliance standards.

  • Proficiency in SAP SD/MM modules, Salesforce, and all standard Microsoft Office applications, support your efficient and data-driven decision-making.

  • Your advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills help you stay composed and effective in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
