Accountant (m/f/d)

For our Finance Team in HELM Skandinavien A/S we are looking for an Accountant (m/f/d) who can either be located in Copenhagen or Hornslet. 

Your tasks:

• In this position you will be responsible for running general ledger accounting operations as well as overseeing and recording financial transactions.
• You will do Month-End-Closing and Year-End-Closing procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
• To do so you will take care of the reconciliation of various accounts.
• You will ensure compliance with legal disclosure requirements and make sure that financial information is accurately and transparently disclosed as per regulations.
• Be responsible for ensuring the timely submission of various tax returns, including VAT, income tax, and withholding tax on salaries.
• Being in contact with other teams you assist in the preparation and control of monthly payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely compensation disbursement.

Your profile:

• The ideal candidate should possess relevant educational qualifications in accounting or a related field.
• You may use your communication skills to guarantee effective interaction with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
• Characteristics like a solution-oriented, target-driven and a strong commitment to continuous improvement are required for this role.
• You are familiar with SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling (FI/CO).
• To fulfill this profile, you are able to communicate in Danish.
