For our team we are looking for an ambitious player as a Senior Sales Manager (m/f/d).
Your tasks:
- You will start your role by participating in the development and independent implementation of the sales strategy according to pre-defined success criteria.
- Your main task will be the acquisition of new customers as well as the consulting of new and existing customers including the calculation of offers and negotiation of customer contracts.
- For our success tracking you will develop sales and pricing strategies as well as concepts including the definition of meaningful KPIs.
- You will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating potential business development options to expand the existing business portfolio.
- In your role, you identify customer needs and develop the analysis and integration of market trends to improve the service offering.
- In your role, you will act as an interface and operate the full management of the sales process with budget and personnel responsibility within the sales responsibility area.
- You will also be involved in the conception of and active participation in relevant sales activities, such as trade fairs, congresses and campaigns, as well as their follow-up.
- Administratively, you will look after the CRM system and continue to build it up.
- Furthermore, you will be involved in the implementation of the SCM process, together with other relevant departments.
- Your responsibilities also deal with performing regular cost analysis, including strategic forecasting as well as reporting of relevant KPIs to management.
Your profile:
- You have a Bachelor or Master degree or alternatively a comparable completed commercial or pharmaceutical training with ideally several years of professional experience in B2B in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Your distinctive customer orientation is identified by your strong communication skills.
- You have excellent negotiation-, sales- and account management skills.
- Basically, you have a very good understanding of pricing, sales and its mechanisms of action.
- You have the will to make a difference and work with a "getting-things-done" mentality.
- Within a very short time you are able to understand complex issues.
- Excellent IT skills including MS Office are a matter of course for you.
- You negotiate in German and English. Further language skills are an advantage for this job.
- You are willing to travel within Germany as well as internationally, especially in other European countries.
